1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, registering for, or using RentPal ("Service"), you agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, you must immediately cease use of the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a legally binding agreement under Singapore law. You represent that all information provided is accurate and complete.

3. Nature of Service

RentPal provides a digital platform for rental management, including lease tracking, payment records, and communication tools. RentPal is not a party to any lease agreement and does not act as an agent, broker, or financial institution unless explicitly stated.

4. User Accounts

You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and all activities conducted under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use or security breach.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purposes
• Attempt unauthorized access to systems, accounts, or data
• Upload malicious code or disrupt platform integrity
• Misrepresent identity or falsify information

6. Personal Data & PDPA Compliance

RentPal collects, uses, and discloses personal data in accordance with Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA). By using the Service, you consent to such collection and processing as described in our Privacy Policy.

You warrant that any personal data you provide about third parties (e.g., tenants, landlords) has been obtained with proper consent and authority under applicable law.

7. Payments and Financial Disclaimer

RentPal may provide tools to track or facilitate payments. However, we do not guarantee payment processing, enforce transactions, or resolve disputes between parties unless explicitly stated. All financial arrangements are solely between users.

8. Intellectual Property Rights

All rights, title, and interest in the Service, including software, design, and content, remain the exclusive property of RentPal or its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the Service.

9. Service Availability

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the Service. Maintenance, upgrades, or unforeseen issues may result in downtime.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted under Singapore law, RentPal shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you (if any) for use of the Service.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RentPal from any claims, damages, losses, or liabilities arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access at our sole discretion, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms or misuse the Service.

13. Amendments

We may revise these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.
